Odd thing aswell for me is having both playing means if a concussion sub is needed you have someone who's just finished a game.

There has to be a bench player as 18th man chosen for the NRL side to cover injuries I think for 3 or more injuries. The 18th player can play in a lower grade lf the game is played on the same day and as a precursor to the NRL game.
As Penisini & Makatoa are both listed the coach will chose who goes to the 18th bench spot after the early game,

So you are suggesting that we will lose 3 of the NRL team to injury very early? Its no different really than when there are repeat replacements in a game. I have not seen a need so far this year for the eels, at least if it happens Penisini is match ready.

He was never going to drop Blake. The fact is last week most of the defensive errors were caused by Jakob Arthur. It doesn't really matter what happened previous to this because if BA drops Blake and leaves his son in the team then it will potentially be the beginning of a rift in the ranks.
Still holding out hope he swaps Opacic and Blake.
Seems to me Sivo has been taught to work with his centre and Fergo just has a complete mind of his own . Might need the steadiness of Opacic. Also Waqa played a lot of left centre at Penrith .
End of the day Fergs has been his own person in every game that he's been in since coming to the eels. A 3 year deal and for me I blame him more for the whole debacle and for me a wasted space. First year VG, 2nd year, cannot find the right words, AAH Hopeless, this year playing ok and auditioning for a long term extension, hope the stage has him Exit Stage Left to the exit door.
