Blake Ferguson will make Eels way better

The traditional view that wingers don’t matter is dead. We have really missed Semi this year - a big body that can take the burden off the pack. Fergo’s stats this year are exactly what we need in 2019:- 20.1 runs per game, 1st in NRL- 199 run metres per game, 1st- 16 line breaks, equal 3rd- 14 tries, equal 5th- 80 tackle busts, 12thGreat signing!

  I don't think so mate. He's an accomplished player who doesn't need "development". Should be fine for a couple of seasons. I still think the coin would've been better spent towards a bit mungrel forward pack.

Agreed I just hope we play him in the wing. To suggest he is wasted there is ridiculous and such comments come from people who don't understand that the modern game.

  Totally agree, we've had French on the wing costing us games, we place Hayne on the wing, big strong, everything improves. Fergo will go alright out on the wing, he knows how to score & read a game.
