Blake ferguson out, Parry in

Confirmation Blake Ferguson is out this weekend with a knee infection. Had minor surgical procedure to clean out infection/drain fluid, Eels expect him to return next week. Unlikely to be any structural damage with that recovery estimate, just need to ensure infection is clear

  • That's fine, we have a good enough squad to get us over the line this week. We will need a 100% effort start to finish

  • Wait so hoffman the winger Is playing in the centres (and poorly) and parry the centre is playing on the wing?

    • Most rookie centres start their NRL careers on the wing even if they've played centre their entire junior career. The defensive demands in terms of decision making are much more difficult in the centres than on the wing. Even though I'm not much of a Hoffman fan, it is still better with his experience to be playing in the centres than a rookie, even a very talented rookie like Ethan Parry.

In any event, I'm sure they'll switch at times during the game anyway.
