Blake Austin, Shannon Boyd, Junior Paulo

All 3 off contract at the end of the season
I would like you all to take a look at their contributions to the game on the weekend Vs the Knights and i would like you all to compare our players in those same positions and their contributions

Take note of

● Austins effort & ability to Normans
● Shannon Boyds power to Kane Evans's
● Paulo's power & Craftiness compared to any of our props

Now ask yourselves,

- Do we get the sort of effort and damand for the ball that we see here from Austin, from our 5/8 Corey Norman?

- Do we see Norman take charge as often as Austin does?

- Do we have the power in the front row that Canberra enjoy with Paulo and Boyd?

- Do we have ball playing nightmare battering ram props with excellent hands like what we see here from Paulo?

And bare in mind, what youre seeing from these 3 players in the game against Newcastle are just average to below average games for these three. These sorts of contributions are bare minimum contributions

Now compare our Big signing Gangly Dangly Kane Evans and everybodies favourite class clown at training Corey Norman to the hard nosed win driven Blake Austin, and them two Monsters in Canberras front row in Junior Paulo and Shannon Boyd

On a side note,
The Knights scored so many awesome player purchases during the off season, its good to see them doing well for a change. And its high time parra start doing well.

If the Knights can buy so many good players, dont tell me we cant Afford Austin, Boyd and Paulo.

Even if we only got Just 2 out of the 3

Moses- Austin would be a better fit than Moses- Norman. Any day and twice on Sunday.

Let go of Hayne (if he doesnt bring home the goodies), Norman and the plenty of dead wood who's contract expire this year and bring all 3 I say. Those players would make us level up and staire Roosters, Storm and Cowboys right in the eyes.

I see Austin similar to Gutherson. Gutherson is better.

I don’t think anyone is denying we need to sign a big aggressive prop or two. Blake Austin is fairly one dimensional in attack but at least he takes the line on and for that reason alone I’d prefer him to Norman on current form. He’s also a more robust defender

Norman is a much more skillful player than Austin. He needs to focus more on what his job is. Forget the past 2 games, you can't read too much into them. Bringing Paulo back would be a good move as he knows the club well.
