Blaize Talagi set to stay at Parramatta

I see this as far more convincing evidence he's staying put with the Eels as opposed to joining Newcastle or the Dragons who are in in a worse position than Newcastle.

Newcastle Herald: "Newcastle's bid to try and prise boom teenage utility back Blaize Talagi out of Parramatta appears unlikely to succeed with club officials privately resigned to him remaining at the Eels."

    • Well the first good thing was getting rid of BA...🤣🤣

Re-signing Blaize would be the 2nd.

      • 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍😂😂

    • Knights was never a chance. No clear pathway to play centre or fullback. Kid will need to relocate away from family as well.  Lots of crosses there. I think Dragons still in the race though. Local Sydney club and they would pay overs with a promise of playing centre.

  • Wouldn't it depend on who we hire as coach. Isaac Moses is a dickhead but he isn't dumb.  He isn't signing until he knows who the coach is and would be levering Blaize to try and get one of his off contract coaches the gig.

I suppose it may be good sign that he is a parra fan and wants to stay regardless of coach but don't trust any media stories.

    • Well, again all conspiracy, but James Hooper let off that he feels Talagi and his management weren't overly fussed with BA's sacking. In other words they were sort of pleased with it. Now Hooper can BS a lot, but it could be something to consider i do not know. But that can also be from BA and Isaac Moses' history of not getting along.

      • Isaac Moses hates BA.

        • As i said they have history. As to why i also mentioned Hoops comment that Talagi's management were quite happy about BA's sacking.

          • Lol look at his 'development'. Thrown in the absolute deep end to solve the fullback woes. Its all good to be a utility but they should have be molding him into where hes needed in first grade not a jack of all trades utility back. BA had no idea what to do with him he said as much. He rarely did know what to do with playters unless they were power forwards told to run hard , win the collision and earn the right to offload. BA 101.

        • 👍😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
