Just shows that development takes time and that despite some of his annoying antics, the likes of Da Silva and Kautoga are doing excellenty. (I know Kitione is older but in terms of NRL minutes they're the same age all).

I'd still probably take him back at the club cause his family is Parra, but it's a good reminder grass isn't always greener. Could be a decent centre 5/8 if he'd like to come back

On a serious note, I wish our NRL teams were more like Cricket teams where being dropped isn't the end of the world, and for young players it's a normal part of development. Basically: "Hey, you were found out. Go work on these things, fix them, and fight your way back into the side."
Not the end of the world. I feel like we pick and stick too much and get cornered into thinking that dropping players to plug holes in their game is a career ending thing. Blaize needs to fix his game and fight his way back - welcome to professional sports. If he's good enough, he will.
When was the last time we had a player knocking down the first grade door? With nothing coming through the coaches kind of had no choice but to pick and stick. Whether it be injury crisis ( which we seem to have a lot) or lack of talent ( also seems to be prevalent)
With that said I don't understand the nrl rules regarding the 2nd tier cap and top 30 players.. Why can't the club pick anyone signed to our club. It just seems strange that the nrl puts any rules in place preventing any talent getting picked in 1st grade.

Why should the NRL have any say in who we put on the team sheet next week. Example when Iongi got injured earlier in the year, We had to play Papali. What if Papali had a bad attitude or was missing tackles or Twidle was killing it in cup. What sport in the world stops a team from picking the best available player
