It's not so much a second injury as having a second surgery on the same injury. It's tough for the young bloke, but let's put things in perspective- he's a young talented player that we're putting into our system. There was never going to be a rush. It will just take a bit longer because we want his knee to be strong.
The silver lining to this unfortunate situation is that Barnes can now take his time away from the spotlight making the transition from Union to League.
We look to have a pretty exciting crop of talent in the NYC this year as it stands, so we can do right by Barnes and his long-term recovery.
