Bit of news

- chasing another prop with the money Norman frees up

- we tried to get Merrin & Klemmer but couldn’t come to the table financially for time both

- few whispers that Ferguson will play in the centres with Sivo on the wing but I don’t think that will be the case Fergo plays on the wing for me

- Dylan Browns contract is going to be upgraded & extended beyond 2020 and he will also be taken off a development contract and upgraded to the Top 30.

  • It was mentioned when he signed that he may play centre time will tell

  • Ferguson is a winger and one of the best in the comp, and if he shuffled into the centres it's just further proof Arthur has no idea.

    • How would u know if he can play centre or not

    • Agree. Fergo made the most metres in the comp on the wing. Playing him in the centres could be one of the most idiotic things to do.
    • Why? He was a centre before going to the Roosters
      • He is world class as a winger but only average as a centre, the only way I would be ok with moving him to centre is if the big Fijian winger we signed from the panthers is able to step up to first grade. That way we would still have good go forward from kick returns and Fergo could still get in for first hit up after the kick return.

    • Would it prove that? Or should you let the blokes in charge of training the team make these calls? Brett I’m sure you’re a top bloke and have coached at an elite level, have a masterful eye for the game and have watched judicially every players performance in the gym and on the training paddock this year plus have an insight into the future plans of recruitment and retention but please mate. Just stop trying to be an armchair warrior.

  • This pisses me off this is the scapegoat ba needs no finals he says we don't have norman he needs another year so they resign him again
  • Trent Merrin apparently has a clause in his contract that he can leave iif he wants to return to an NRL club.W

    Would you guys take him?

    • Yes.

"Yeah well he's gone and you're still blabbering on.
You can't prove the contract amount that Lomax signed on for, and it was stated he was on 800 at the dragons.  Common sense says only a fool would think he'd sign here for 650. .
If he was on…"

Adam Magrath replied to Blue Eel's discussion Real Reason Parramatta Coach cut Zac Lomax Loose
"A "master stroke" and "the type of guy Jason Ryles doesn't want". Maybe Lomax is very replaceable, even to the point of being unwanted, and the club isn't at fault at all in how this has been handled."
