Big wins by Storm advantageous to us

In 2001 we came into the grand final on the back of big wins ultimately falling at the last hurdle......this time round we are in the shoes of Newcastle Knights who were the underdogs.Cayless, Hindmarsh and Burt know all too well that these Big wins can be detrimental to the Storm. This time round we are in an advantageous position and I am sure our senior players along with DA will prepare the squad well. One more game guys.....Just one more performance of what we been putting in for the last 11 weeks.

  • How BAD were the Broncs, though?

I don't think anyone could read too much into that game.
    • i agree the broncos let in 34 points against the titans who we kept tryless.
  • I fully agree, that is the worse way to go into the Grand Final.

Broncos simply did not turn up last night they were falling off tackles all over the place, had zero structure in the attack and the Storm were simply not tested.

Put that on top of the week-off and a pretty lame effort from the Sea Eagles as well, and they're going into this grand final totally underdone, compared to ourselves who have had to really earn our wins all the through.

I note Bellamy said at the press conference that he felt his side were in pretty good form. That's exactly what we want them to think, because if they think facing us is going to be anything like they're last two games they are going to face one hell of a surprise.
