Big Boppers needed

We need a couple of bigger lads who are capable of bending the line of the larger sides.Watching our guys run one out & hitting a brick wall all second half made me think there were two bulldog teams on the field.U hav to hav players large enuf to bend that advantage line across, so the backs hav a platform to play from.We got lucky, this time.

  • Willis Meehan has been passed by the NRL as well and will be right to train with us
Not allowed to play any 1st grade games though this year heard this on the news this morning
  • We need more than Evans and Meehan if we are going to compete against the top sides.

Punting Captain Softserve would be a good start.

  • Matt Kenny i agree we need to look at big boppers for next year and beyond, but it is what it is this year. The amount of defence we did last night no wonder we were hitting brick walls, we were a forward down and we were physically stuffed. With Vave and Terepo as options in the coming weeks and Mau to come back in and an equal share of possession, if we make the 8 I think we can go fairly deep in the como even with a small pack that we have at the moment, what we lack in size we gain in heart. The bulldogs pack is the biggest in the comp and we came away with win.

"Start Samrani either centre or wing. He smashed the sharks and the chooks. Was fast, tackle-busting and once he set his eyes on the try line it was curtains for the opposition.
I'd start him on the wing as not to disrupt Rusty and the combos set up…"
