Is it just a perception of mine or a reality that the refs seem to favour the Broncos at their home ground?
I thought 3 penalties given against Cows were unjustified, most very close to posts, where the Broncos kicked goals. In first half Cows penalised for a flop tackle in front of their posts, fair enough, but what happened in second half. Late in second half Broncos had a blatant and very late flop in front of their posts but nothing happened. No consistency! In same tackle when Cows player rising to play the ball he pulled away from Broncos tackler hanging on and refs ruled dropped ball.
In extra time with Thurston no try, I thought Eden was outside field of play when he touched the ball causing the ball to be knocked on. Bunker and refs all missed it, was I drunk or something? If true and Eden touched ball slightly after Thurston shouldn't that be a penalty or penalty try?

How then did everyone including linesman miss that. His flag should be in the process of being raised.
Think that JT had every right to kick up a bigger stink than he did, they were robbed.
But I'm gonna guess that the big news out of the game will be that someone, somewhere ever so slightly touched a ref
You nailed it Macey, There are officials trawling the tape, frame by frame forwards and backwards, to identify the latest "toucher". Stamp out the "touchers"....that'll get the crowds back!
I bet nothing happens about that, particularly if Broncos player.
yep, I reckon just moments before crossing to the bunker, these guys were watching "home and away"
I didn't notice too much, they did get a couple of 50/50 penalties. I thought broncos were hard done a few times, particularly when Gillet scored and was ruled 'no try', there were two professional fouls I noted which were just penalised with no 'sin bins' and the way thurston spoke to the ref at times was atrocious yet was never penalised or even warned.
Was it just me, or did anyone else notice the Bronco markers poleaxe Jake Glanville when he tried to get to Anthony Milford to have a crack at charging down the winning field goal? At least 2 of them moved deliberately sideways to initiate contact with him ..
