Bevan French reportedly signs with the Knights

I see Ponga pushing up into the halves to replace Milford and French going to fullback. He's too small for the wing.

I really hope he does well!

"The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio revealed on SEN Radio that Bevan French is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Knights.

French will offer Newcastle a much-needed back-up option at fullback, with Tex Hoy off to the Super League next year.

The 26-year-old will of course also be pushing for a first-grade spot on the wing and will be hoping to continue his electric form, having ran in a record-breaking seven tries earlier this year in the Super League."

Ponga will stay at FB. They tried him at 6 but with no space to run, he was a bum. That and he can't tackle. He'd get plenty of traffic coming his way.

Knights really should be after a organising half, not this small brittle players who can turn it on but also can't at times. Anyways good luck to French.

Bem ,did you not notice that when French was with parra Athur had the team going sideways leaving French no room to more and got (ragdolled ) it's been years since he left and went to England and he was given his rightful chance and has shown his skill and he's a far better player
