I know this might be a bit far fetched but what about having Bevan French coming off the bench instead of IDG. Something along the lines of what Ben Barba is doing for the Sharks.
Just saying if there is an injury in the back line he could slot in and a couple to shift around to accommodate. But mainly I think he would be great coming in in the last 20 - 25 minutes whilst the big boppers are getting tired due to the interchange changes, also he wont be thrown into the deep end of having to play a full 80mins.
Like I said far fetched but just a thought.

Highly unlikely. Additionally, Bevan is not top 25, therefore BA is unlikely to start chewing up the 2nd tier cap for round 1. Barba is a seasoned first grader and Bevan is not.
Bevan will get this time to fill in this season but as he is not top 25 he is limited to how many games he can play and I'd suspect BA would prefer him to be filling in later in the season leading into the semi's, then round 1.
BA is all about defence, and he repeats this over and over each time he gives an interview. As a result I doubt Bevan will be in the picture to play up in the NRL until he improves his defence.
Wing or fullback.
He will be our full back next year after Gordan retired no rush
