There isn't a spot in our first grade side for him, but geez he's too good for reserves. Surely the Cowboys, Titans or Dogs would benefit having him at fullback. That makes it 8 tries for the season and second in the comp.

Bevan French stars in Magpies win
The Wentworthville Magpies were too strong for the St George Illawarra Dragons in their Round Eight clash at Bankwest Stadium.
The Magpies and Dragons both went into the game with four wins for the season and were hungry to grab the two competition points.
It was the Dragons who grabbed first points in the game, with Jonus Pearson crossing in the fourth minute to take the Red V to a four-point lead after a failed conversion.
Magpies fullback Bevan French took it upon himself to hit back in the 12th minute, cutting through the middle and scoring under the post. Rhys Davies converted the try, putting the home side on the front foot.

He's been scoring tries fairly consistently at Wenty, especially at 5/8 and full back. The more he scores and plays the better he will be especially as he seems to be getting his confidence back from his injury, I suspect that he was basically overly concerned in doing the injury again.

He got injured and went off after only 20mins in that game.
He's gotten 8 tries, 8 try assists and 23 tackle breaks in just 7.2 games.
I'm not asking for him to come into the Parra first grade team. I'm saying he deserves a chance at fullback at one of the other clubs.

There will be injuries and we may call on him to play fullback, 5/8 or even wing (if Greg L is unavailable too). We need him to be full of confidence when that happens, so this is good news.
Exactly Johnny, Bevan is a confidence player. Good to hear he’s going well. He just needs to prove himself in defense before any decent team will take him on. He’d be worth a gamble to provide some spark to someone like the titans.. Gordon solid as he is doesnt create any threat whatsoever!

Weve been a much better rounded team without him, much stronger, i cringe at the thought of him coming back to be other teams biatch every week.
Anybody who cant see we are a much better rounded and stronger side without chicken legs is nuts.
