Paul Vaughan (St George Illawarra Dragons), Akuila Uate (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles), Damien Cook (South Sydney Rabbitohs) and Mitchell Aubusson (Sydney Roosters) have been called into the World All Stars squad ahead of the Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars.
The trio will replace Nate Myles, Konrad Hurrell, Adam Reynolds and Jake Trbojevic, who have been ruled out of the match through injury.
Bevan French (Parramatta Eels), Tyrone Roberts (Gold Coast Titans) and Chris Smith (Sydney Roosters), have also been brought into the Indigenous All Stars squad for the match, at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on Friday, 10 February.
The Indigenous All Stars trio will replace Sam Thaiday and Adam Elliott, who have been ruled out through injury. Chambers has withdrawn due to the impending arrival of his first child.

How can so many players suddenly become injured? Would this be happening if it was SOO?
Good on you French though, you deserve it.
Because it is no longer seen by players and coaches as a competition of any significance.
Stub your toe and you are injured.
Happened last year as well.
I think they have an 'Injury roster' where each year players apply for the position of 'Injured' and names are drawn from the hat.
Isn't it funny that in the interests of "reconciliation" we celebrate by pitting them against us in a battle of supremacy.
I dont like it. even though it means alot to him.. Nines and then All stars...increased chance of injury
Im a great fan of the nines but not this all stars game just asking to much I think
Just think if Bevan French get hurt who will play fullback for us and what we get out of it if he does
Don't start me Col on this game and the whole issue of reconciliation. IMO its nothing more than a warm fuzzy event for R league and entertainment. The longer the reconciliation goes on the more we will hear about this and other so called issues.

We do have depth this year, but yeah, we dont want any injuries if possible.
I've always thought this was a strange concept. Really it would be better for the Indigenous team to play against a Maori team than to have an Us vs Them game which means zero to one side. This might raise the profile of the indigenous cultures but it is exclusive rather than inclusive of non-indigenous people.
They play half a year for extraordinary $$$.
Maybe they should get a real job and work 48 weeks, 50 hrs a week for $70k like the rest of us.
Sick of the Prima donnas.
This site can be so depressing at times.
Read through any blog about games being played prior to the season proper and all you get from so many doomsayers is the "they WILL GET INJURED" BS.
Yes there is a reality that in ANY game players can get injured - but Why the feck do we inbsist they WILL get injured.
God I would hate to live some of the lives you people live.
EVERYTHING is going to be a disaster just so you can WHINGE (told you so syndrome) about how bad your life is when YOU make it happen.
FFS.
HEADS UP children - players get injured at training - should we ban training because the risk of injury is too high?
