I know every blog is about Hayne and deservingly so. I just need to add.... watching league since 1985 as a parra fan and a rugby league fan..... Jarryd Lee Hayne is the best player I have ever seen. Im not saying he is the best player who ever played but the best ive seen.
When Joey retired I always told everyone he was the best player ive seen. I regard Darren Lockyer as one of the best ive seen aswell. (even though he is a Queenslander).
Let me explain why Jarryd is the best player ive seen and has 10 more years ahead of him if he wants to stay in league....could be one of the best of all time!
Jarryd oozes confidence and when he takes charge of a game with his runs and passing and energy in gereral rubs off on the others. People that think we are a one man team are not seeing what he actually brings out in a team.
Our forwards are the ones that make all the room for Jarryd to be a playmaker that he is. Fui leads us there....Mannah horo hindy caylo poore all run harder when Fui is Firing. So when they are all doing this Jarryd takes the ball when the defence retreating and is putting them in two minds whether he is going to run or pass or kick etc.
Its his confidence that makes our forwards lay the platform, do not take that away from them.
Jarryd is the best player in the world because he knows how to mix flair with brilliance and be a playmaker.
He has jus asmanyTry assists as tries. His run meters and hit ups are phenonomal.
Just because he hasnt scored as many tries at the beginning of the year people have said he is not as good as last year. In fact he has done these things for most of the year if u check the stats. Then comes the tries he saves.
He has a lot to go to be the best of all time, but in my life time Ive never seen a better individual player who just produces week after week and just makes you forget what he did the week before. You know he is special if he keeps topping what he did.
Mark my words he will win back to back Dally M medals. He is not far behind the leader now id imagine.
