Best Guitarist the world has seen

Have to create a blog based on a Van Halen concert (1982) I'm watching right now. David Lee Roth just said Eddie Van Halen has won best guitarist of the year 5 years in a row. So late 70s to early 80s it was Eddie. I'd go Jimi Hendrix for best ever though.

  • Jimmy Page was awesome. I'm listening to Dazed and Confused live in 1973. One guitarist that I don't think has been given enough credit over the years is Angus Young. His riffs are close to the best and solos are decent.
    • love me some Angus, that's for sure

  • Mark Taylor in that Fujitsu ad.
  • Hank marvin
    Carlos Santana
    Eric Clapton
