Cambell-Gillard had a good season for us last year, I also thought Wicks, who wasn't the most gifted player but was a shining light during a dark period for the club could have easily been forgotten.
Luke Burt also unlucky to miss out but I was looking for big wingers that could contribute a bit more in the middle of the field than Burt did.

I thought about JT, but he only played one season for us, so I went with Mitch instead.
As far as Jarryd as captain, I never got the notion that he wasn't a great leader. He bled for this club for a decade when he could've easily skipped town. In any event, he's the best player this club has had over the last 30 years.
Taylor was just there to steer the young blokes around.
True, but that was an exceptional team, I couldn't say Moses wouldn't have been just as effective

Gutho gets the 1 simply because the team he makes a team better as opposed to Hayne who tried to take over every team.
RCG gets the nod because his season was top shelf
Burt very unlucky but couldn't get a spot for him
Interesting you put Tim Smith at halfback, he was very very good in 2005.
I wish he played with us like that his whole career.
Its more a indicator of how few good halves we have had.
Tims 05 and 07 seasons were exceptional and we made the preliminary final on both those years
