BEST DECISION FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY

Wow just friggen wow.

Just snotted cornflakes and milk all over the wall.

Every excuse has been trotted out on NRL 360 and now sterlo.

Blame the rule

Blame the Managers

Blame the NRL

But its not DCE"S fault , "He did the best for himself and his family "

So parading around between four different clubs, after tipping the media off.

With wife in tow

Signing 4 million two year contract with two year option with Titans after Manly withdrew initial offer, of which YOU SAID was inadequate.

The for several weeks fueled speculation by publicly saying I"M going to Gold coast, Nothing has changed, I'm a man of "MY WORD" etc etc.

Continuing the Media circus to beat up your Price.

At the same time IE: last two weeks, telling your mates and manager that if manly re table their offer with massive increases in time and money duration you will BACK FLIP.."ACTUAL WORDS USED"

So point 1) NEVER ABOUT MONEY

Point 2) ALWAYS ABOUT STAYING LOYAL TO MANLY

Point 3) WHAT'S BEST FOR YOUR FAMILY

"i never broke any rules, always in the rules "

FFS you absolute DOPEY GIRAFFE.

yes you and your manager manipulated the system.

Yes its all about the MONEY.

Just stop lying to US and YOURSELF.

you are a mercenary and parading yourself and using your family as an excuse is so bloody poor.

  • The ironic thing is, he's now screwing with Manly's salary cap... how is that fair to manly and their fans? What if he becomes injury prone or never reaches potential/ his form drops?

Do Manly have a 'get out' clause if DCE plays like sh*t towards the end of the deal?

    • Hi GP, the same situation probably applies to Foran. We r paying a very high package for Foran & it must have some impact on our Salary Cap. There r no guarantees regarding injuries or performance.

Its a risk all clubs take when recruiting a marquee player.

  • Look at that head!! It infuriates me!
  • Mate, the journos aren't going to shoot themselves in the foot - they need access to him for the next six years.
  • As I mentioned in an earlier blog I'm almost certain DCE said one of the main reasons he is moving to the GC was that it was best for his family. Seems he's recycling excuses.

  • There was a vid before the game that he announced his titan deal that showed him talking to toovey, seeing a camera, putting his hands behind his back and the smug smile he had on left a mark on me. Its just an image but it really seemed to show what he is like personally. Smug, selfish & loves the attention. I dont know this guy but his body language, words & actions scream this out.
  • And just adding to that, compare to foran the day he had to tell his team and coach that he was leaving.... Real pain, he kept it simple & respectful & has stayed true to his word. Honour.....

    • It's still kinda weird, as he seems like a nice guy when you see him in interviews.

  • He can trot out all the cliche's .I

    t was calculated and deliberate.

He manipulated the system in place.

If I was the titans I would now counter sue him, his manager and the NRL for the domino effect this has made on their recruitment and roster as this has been a restraint of trade for them and at least a dozen players now effected by this whole charade
