For the fist time since Ricky Stuart backstabbed and lied his way back to the Raiders, I want them to win tonight against the West Tigers. Why?.....
Because it will leave the Tigers and Knights to battle out the wooden spoon, leaving them both 4 points adrift of us at the bottom of the table, with 4 rounds to play. I like safety in numbers when it comes to the eels chances of avoiding the wooden spoon, the more teams below us the better.
It also keeps the Raiders in touch with the top 8, by my calculations and predicting their wins in the remaining rounds, it would leave them in the exact same scenario as us last year, needing to win the final game of the season to make the finals.
Who do they play in the last game of the regular season and where you ask?....
Parramatta at Pirtek Staduim, no doubt to a sell out crowd and our first chance to give Ricky Stuart a warm welcome back.

I'm in and was already planning my trip up from Melbourne for this game, having waited almost two years to hurl abuse at that scum.
Ha great blog bert, id love nothing more for us than to knock the raiders out last round.
