I adjusted my medication & my brief hiatus from the site has concluded. What did it achieve? Nothing. No matter what, I can not detach myself from the eels...It is a 40 year sickness and addiction.
I heed the advice from my fellow 1EYED family and friends, in reading your replies when I announced I was departing and starting my off-season early. I realised I am far from alone in my shock and disdain over a few players we have re-signed for 2016 which was the tipping point of my break down, in what has already been another a very trying season on and off the field. (for us all, not just me)
So again, I will be cheering for the team tonight, and throwing projectiles at the TV every time we receive a penalty and watch Luke Kelly have a 3 minute mother's meeting before kicking for touch, allowing the Panthers players to retreat, take a breather and get their defensive line set.
