Bernie an absolute legend

Good seeing Bernie at WIN stadium yesterday waiting in line like all the other punters buying his sausage roll and coffee. Things must be tough if dragons can't offer some food to the mighty Bernie

  • Bernie just being a regular punter is OK by me and it shows he's a real rugby league man who hasn't forgotten his roots.

    A couple of years ago (about 4 or 5 years) I was in a queue at for a coffee at Leichhardt with Paul Dunn in front of me and Dave Trodden directly behind me. Two men who were of similar stature as Bernie, Just having a dhin wag with anyone who recognised them....or didn't.

    Go Parra!

  • That would be the case where a somebody waits in line just to get a taste of what it's like to be amongst the lame. A social experiment.

  • He's a good man our Bernie.
    • Not until he delivers a premiership!!

  • I had the pleasure of sitting with Bernie yesterday. He was there to watch all three grades, and also was at District reps on Saturday.

    He definitely knows his footy, he's hugely personable and was shaking hands and chatting people all over the place.

    We're in very good hands. I even got to vent on some junior footy issues, and that's probably what impressed me most, is that he seems to be very much across everything going on at the club, which let's say, I've not always had that confidence in some of our more recent CEOs.

    Definitely came away from WIN Stadium that this club is moving forward on pretty much every front!!

    • Bloody hell Phil - this positivity about the CEO is just going to encourage another round of 'oh revereeee' from our favourite malcontent!
      • No Fishbub, Phil or Precious used their autocratic way to totally rub out not just close a blog that I posted this arvo

        1. Eels are looking the goods for now;
        2. We can attribute which we all agree on that BA cuts the mustard ( even walks on water ) and is the cause;

        But then I asked

        3. Who locked in the players we currently have...the previous administration or Mad Max and his Cigar smoking Board. Certainly wasn't Mad Max or the CS Board ;

        4. Then I asked where are the sponsors that Mad Max and his CS Board with their commercial brilliance:

        5. Then I commented are Mad Max and his CS Board really just going to be freeloaders at our expense enjoying the thrills of private boxes, ait fares and accommodation, without adding to the PNRL Club.

        Phil or Precious's ( Brett ) response...they or he deleted the Blog..they pelted the crap out of the previous administration but now protect Mad Max and his CS Board to a level of now censorship on this site.

        Interesting.....wonder what Mad max has whispered as on offer in their ears...

    • Gee it was nice Bernie while it lasted.

  • Astute, personable, loves his footy. Say hello if you see him.
  • Thats the kiss of death from phil.
