Bench

Our bench is dreadful, apart from Danny wicks we have no impact what so ever! It is dreadful seeing Paulo come on an not even hit it up as a forward. It was a discrase watching today!Corey Norman was out best

  • Since Round 1 I thought it was a mistake to have Paulo and De Gois on the bench. The tactic is obviously not working as we're getting routinely ran over in the second half. We need more size on the bench to ensure some fresher bigger bodies as the game wears on.
    • De Gois will go soon, we've been lacking depth for the bench in recent weeks but with Pauli and Fa'aso back he'll hopefully drop back to Wenty. Can't say the same about Paulo though, BA seems to love him.

  • Yes I agree mate, you can't go into the game with 1 prop on the bench.... It's a waste of space having De'gois & Paulo. Paulo is fcuking dreadful!! How does everyone rate this bloke, he through 3-4 passes today that were forward or knocked on! It's not that fcuking hard to hold onto the ball and complete the first 5 sets of each half an get I to the grind.
  • I thought Terepo has been good
    • I agree. He runs hard everytime

  • Both Moeroa and Pauki were good in cup and should come in next week. Fa'aoso can't be far way either. Get rid of some of the pretenders we have been carrying.
  • Today's team should have looked like this,

    01. Will Hopoate
    02. Bureta Faraimo
    03. Ryan Morgan
    04. John Folau
    05. Reece Robinson
    06. Corey Norman
    07. Chris Sandow
    08. Darcy Lussick
    09. Nathan Peats
    10. Tim Mannah (C)
    11. Manu Maú
    12. Tepai Moeroa (providing he is ok to play)
    13. David Gower

    14. Richie Fa'aoso
    15. Anthony Watmough
    16. Danny Wicks
    17. Peni Terepo

We needed too match the Titans big men, we have the skill to score tries but really lacked the go forward
  • Ritchie Fa'aoso will be added to 1st grade 17 shortly.

  • My team for next week (God willing):

    1. Quinlan/Robinson
    2. Faraimo
    3. Hopoate
    4. Takairangi/Goodall
    5. Robinson/Goodall
    6. Norman
    7. Sandow
    8. Mannah
    9. Peats
    10. Pauli
    11. Ma’u
    12. Gower
    13. Watmough
    14. Fa’aoso
    15. Wicks
    16. Terepo
    17. Lussick

Folau, Morgan, Paulo, De Gois to Wenty.

  • 1 Robinson
    2 Bureta
    3 Hoppa
    4 Taka
    5 Folau
    6 Matterson
    7 Norman
    8 Mannah

    15 Wicks
    16 Gower
    17 De Gois
