To add to this Thaiday has been charged with is great news if he missed the Storm Game
A WHOPPING five players are set to spend time on the sidelines as the NRL charge a total of seven players out of the weekend’s action.
Broncos forward Sam Thaiday (dangerous contact), Titans captain Greg Bird (dangerous throw), Dragons hooker Mitch Rein (dangerous contact) and Panthers forward Adam Docker (dangerous throw) are set to miss one week of footy after being hit with grade one offences.
Retiring Eels forward Ben Smith has likely played his last NRL game after being hit with a grade three dangerous contact charge for his tackle on Knights winger Chanel Mata’utia.
Smith is facing a three week suspension with the early guilty plea but if he fights the charge and loses he will miss four matches.
Roosters centre Michael Jennings (careless high tackle) and Warriors prop Sam Rapira (dangerous contact) were both charged with grade one offences but will miss no footy if they take the early guilty plea

Thank Christ!
Good for the Brissy game but not for the Warriors game. Docker has been one of Penrith best this year.
Maybe Docker will not be so sorely missed. Big hitter but mistake prone. Stats against Manly
What about that fat pommy dog who shoulder charged Burgess? I couldn't believe the refs totally ignored it.
Who?
Ben's Myth?
Meh
How wasn't Matai charged with a shoulder charge??? The judiciary is a disgrace.
Wasnt a shoulder charge Al, it was a great copybook hard tackle, both arms were clearly up making the tackle, would be in the top 5 tackles of the year imo.
