Ben Hunt - should we make a play for him?

I think we should. We don't have the cap space and would have to heavily back end the deal.

Brisbane are also obviously in the box seat BUT he is young, very talented, consistent and would come at half the price say a DCE would.

I really rate him and think he would be a fantastic, long term signing, particularly with Sandow being so inconsistent. A Hunt / Norman halves pairing would work well too imo.

If we could still sign a couple of decent forwards, I would also sign Hunt.

Thoughts?

    Hunt's not a bad defender either so maybe he could take up the slack for Sandow? ;)

    Purchasing halfbacks has never worked for us. Were better off producing one ourselves.

      Hi Mac, the last FG quality junior HB of note that I can recall would be either Kolc or Murray. A long, long time since then. Sterlo was from Wagga, same town as Turvey, he was not a Parra junior.
