Considering he was no certainty to be picked for 9s this seems overly generous. Why stop there, apply trial games and opposed training sessions as part of ban also. By early March suspension would be served.
I think all players should be banned for a year for any breach, and then given life from game. It is simple.
That would be treating this seriously, but when we have player association having input etc. it becomes a joke, and the AFL system is worse i believe.
Barba should be banned for life imo
