Former NRL superstar and Dally M Medal winner Ben Barba is back in court on assault charges.

Barba is due to face a Queensland court on Thursday, but the details of the allegation remain unclear.

The 31-year-old will appear at Mackay Local Court following his arrest and charge of assault occasioning bodily harm.

"Our back 5 are, as a group, very average. Our halves are reserve graders. Our forwards are hit and miss at best.
The best thing is our bench and that's not fantastic.
The Dogs should win easy ...but won't. I think these guys know they are up against…"

"Moses' days of rep footy were over before this year's state of origin series. Daley would be a fool to select him again. An injury waiting to happen... again....
