  Just handed in my membership form.. wasnt a member last year though due to working night shift! Although i did have alot of Friday nights off ( sick ) ... lol Just posted a blog about the Hayne membership, anyone know what is involved with the superstras and legends bbq?? Any idea Tony / guys??

  I used to be a season ticket holder at Cumberland - it was a card that was hole punched! Had season tickets in Thornett stand from 86 to Superleague season. gave them up after superleague ended as there were too many free tickets handed out in that season and it was insulting for people who prepaid season tickets. Became full member last year.

  Whilst I realise that finances are tough for some, membership does indicate a certain passion for the team. I will admit to frustration last year because I felt that certain players did not have the same passion for their jersey. However, we cannot rely on Leagues Club handouts to provide us with a team. Memberships are important. I'm sure that membership numbers help when attracting sponsorships (of course performances on the field is the number one attraction for sponsors as it keeps their brand in the headlines) so it becomes part of the circle of financial life for our team.

  stop over in Papua New Guinea and pick up this '1 Eyed EEL' if Russel Crowe lends you the learjet. Blue & Gold in my veins too and would LOVE a package for those of us supporters beyond Australia that would include footy gear! Some of us may venture into Sydney before we play the 2011 Grand Final so there should be some sort of package for us!!

  i agree, I think we , as in all NRL supporters, need to adopt the AFL mindset which is to be a fully paid up financial member regardless of how well we are doing on the field, with the proviso that its financially sensible for you to do so....can't not put food on the table afterall.
