I've been a member for 20 years now.
Some would say it's wasted money they are probably right I downgraded my membership a few years ago now my Son loves going to the games with me so we go.
I was recently talking to a old bloke about all things footy and he was a knights member he said he's Member not a fan I didn't get it at the time but I'm starting to.
I dislike so much about this club the players the management it's fair to say I'm not a fan of any of it but I'm still a member and probably will be for Years to come but can't fiqure out why?
I'm now a member but not a fan.
Maybe it's just me anyone else feel the same?

Never thought of it that way but I also agree. Hard to be a fan and invest time and energy in to something that we can't control.
Also hard to be a fan when everyone can see the board is the problem but nothing can be done about it
Also when you compare other clubs to ours we just don't stack up
Life is too short, walk away.
Follow the sport.
Find a team that deserves your support and attention.
There is no such thing as loyalty in sport, it's what people tell themselves and others matters when they want to be there when the team eventually turns it around. But the administrators and players don't care about you or anyone else's ongoing support. They barely turn up even though they get paid more than most of us.
I will never forget when John Singleton threw the kitchen sink at Mick Cronin to get him to go to Newtown. He offered Mick a huge amount of money plus was going to helicopter him from Gerringong to Sydney for each training session and game day. Mick said to him "I can't win the Premiership for Parramatta if I'm playing for Newtown". That is why we won Grand Finals in the '80's.
Maybe we should follow that lead and get a third party helicopter deal to fly players to training and game days so they can live in more attractive areas? They could still live the beach or country life while playing for Parramatta.
But that would mean the club need to put their hands in their pockets for someone other than themselves. They don't do it for us fans, getting bare minimum, they would barely do it for players.
I think the club needs to change the "eel" label. It worked for canterbury when they went from the "berries" to Bulldogs. When fans think of an eel they think slimmy, ugly.
My choice would be Rams because the wool industry started at Harris Park. Second choice "Bulls", for no reason then it sounds more ferocious then an eel. FFS
Nah we will always be the Eels. Been an Eel for 58 years. And lovem.
Then everyone would drive a RAM car 🚗. Stick with the Eels. Not much can kill an Electric Eel
Other than spontaneous combustion ?
