"Ok same question to you as LB, who should we get and when?"
"Exactly, why let him sit on the sideline or in Union, we get nothing out of it. At least get something in return. Not just anything but something pretty good."
"I would be really happy with Howarth, i think that is on the line of a deal where it is both fair value and nearly realistic of getting done. Still a long shot but i could see Howarth. Coates is a fantasy for example.

"Right now Lomax is only a piece of paper to the Eels. Like say a $100 note. It's not helping us until we exchange it for something tangible and of value. A decent player swap benefits our squad. Being intransigent may make us feel powerful but it…"

Really hope Scott lines up, I think he's super important for the team dynamic. I'll go so far to say that any Eels side containing Scott, Norman and Foran, I'll be tipping to win this year.
That said, love having a player like Gower sitting on the edges of this squad and being able to fill in at prop or second row. Gives you a tremendous amount of stability and reduces the inevitable disruption caused by little week-to-week injuries.
A good Rabbitohs mate of mine said we've the most awesome team in NRL with the likes of big Semi, Jennings, Foran, Scott, Man'u, Normy, Gordon and even some of the lower grades players has him shaking his head in envy.
I reckon if in doubt leave him out.
It's a long season and Beau will have to be nursed through anyways - he's no spring chicken :)
All of our forwards have improved this year - if we loose and blame it on Scott's absence we will just be making excuses - we still have the team to win this.
Thank you Ronald.
In Burgundy I trust :)
I know the the young tigers halves would be hoping that he doesn't play.
And for that reason, this is probably the one game where you do really want Beau to play.
That said, I do agree, and I think we're in a position, particularly at the moment where we can be careful with our players because we do have some excellent players who can fill in ably. Better to take care of the player's bodies at this stage of the season so they don't add up towards the back-end.
It's interesting watching how the EPL is forced to deal with player rotation, because the top teams tend to play a lot of back-to-back games, and there is an enormous amount of science surrounding monitoring the players to decide which players to rest in any particular week.
