He went ok for his first hit out. He has never been a flashy explosive player. He is a tackling machine and was purchased to fix our edge defence. What he brings to the defensive line is as important as Jennings flare.

Where the Eels need to improve the most is in defense and in not mentally fading out of games at the death. Scott is there to help in just those two areas. End of story?
