Was the difference between the 2 teams today, and not in a good way lol
Up there with the biggest individual shockers seen in a Parra jersey in a while. He's been great this season as a whole tho. Hopefully in future seasons when we have some sort of 25 man squad we can cut him back to 20 or so games for the year and not play him in the centres. Ouch!

Well centres is not his preferred position is it Dan, and he was far from the difference between the two teams.
His poor read lead to every try Penrith scored. Had a shocker with the ball as well. He's not a centre, but I don't think he's a 26 game a year player at this stage of his career either.
He was essentially set up to fail - covering out in the Centres. Not that this was BA's intent - just a gamble (given limited options) that didn't come off.
Dan he's been best on park for us basically the entire year, I'm not sure if we've been watching the same person.
He gets thrown into the centres because of the decimation of the team and you are making a judgement call from 1 game, it could only be from 1 game because he's been outstanding all year, he won my 3 points for the first 7 weeks he was here.
I recon when this players player comes out, which is voted on by the team you might be a bit shocked, Beau will be certainly in the top 3 and probably win.
He's been great!
He's also played centre at origin level so its not a completely unfamiliar position. I think given his tough , uncomprimisng style, and the wear and tear it no doubt has on his body, he's exceeded expectations. I also think he won't last the length of his contract ala Watmough if we continue to play him 26 games a season. Not a knock on the bloke at all. Apart from today which was totally out of character he's been outstanding.
Nope, watch the 4 trys Penrith scored again and answer me wtf Beau was doing on each of them.
This isn't really a blog to bag the guy tho. He's had a great season. Think even he would grade his game today very harshly. He was awful. Circumstances went against him, but Mau was in a similar boat and held his own. In fact he had to replace Beau out wide after he got repeatedly carved up and it settled us down again. Something to keep an eye on with Scott over the next few years is how he handles a long season IMO.
That's funny.
You do know the bloke is in the twilight of his career? You would also know he hasn't played centre for four years, right? You did realise that our SOO centre was out plus we have a small and inexperienced winger playing outside Beau (terribled) Scott?
I reckon Scott can make it through a footy season, dan.
But Scott did the same, he shot up in defense to catch the runner before he could spread it on two occasions, on both occasions he was caught out for it and French was left alone. Not saying it was entire Scott's fault, but 2 of those were off the back of him shooting up in defense.
That isn't a fault on him as a player though, he just maintained his same defensive style as he does in the middle - the main issue with that is if you miss in the middle you're not creating 3v1 overlaps.
