Ridiculous signing. Champion has spent most of the past three years injured. The Eels have taken the notion of a replacement for Tonga literally. I am banking on this not happening as RL Week says set to sign.

Brad Arthur has seemed to instill some consistency into the boys and I think that if this guy can get a preseason with the club under his belt and our medical staff can do something to reduce his injury proneness we could have a good buy. This guy wouldnt be on anything more than 150k and when you think about it thats chump change.

I reckon if he impresses BA in the off season then we have found our experienced replacement for Willie Tonga.
