  • F_ck Me, bad news day this morning....

  • Not too bad. Knows his way to the try-line and has experience. We can't keep relying on juniors and with Tonga leaving we lose a lot of experience in the back-line. It will give our younger players time to adjust to the NRL, rather than throwing them in the deep end like we've had to in recent seasons.
  • Ridiculous signing. Champion has spent most of the past three years injured. The Eels have taken the notion of a replacement for Tonga literally. I am banking on this not happening as RL Week says set to sign.

    • Hahahaha
  • How much Ron?
  • Bernie I broke this news Friday.
    He is coming.
Kelepi gone To north Queensland and choc is coming as soon as manly give him the release
  • Extremely injury prone but he has experience and whilst inconsistent he has the ability to be a good player and was even dubbed a future origin star, not that counts for much since it came from Ricky Stuart.
Brad Arthur has seemed to instill some consistency into the boys and I think that if this guy can get a preseason with the club under his belt and our medical staff can do something to reduce his injury proneness we could have a good buy. This guy wouldnt be on anything more than 150k and when you think about it thats chump change.
    50/50 signing
He could spend the season on the sidelines or he could find the form of his life
I reckon if he impresses BA in the off season then we have found our experienced replacement for Willie Tonga.
  • Its looking likely we could have 4. Champion 5. Earl which is decent
  • Not keen on this at all, can run good lines but can't beat a player 1 on 1 and hence setup his winger, remind you of anyone.....

An older more injury prone version of Morgan in my opinion.
  • Sorry Dave Z. I don't like to boast, but i scooped this a month ago.

"True as. A good sign to me was Hopgood Pensini both out and 2 players slotted in no drama. Tells me his system is starting to sink in and we will look more Melbourne like as time goes on. Just needs time to coach it all into them "
