Battle of the superstar fullbacks looming

Just who rugby league's greatest fullback is will be answered in the NRL grand final when superstars Billy Slater and Jarryd Hayne go head to head. Melbourne dynamo Slater steered his side into their fourth successive grand final with tries in both halves as the Storm crushed Brisbane 40-10 at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. He was denied another early four-pointer by referee Jared Maxwell, and pulled off at least two try-saving tackles to stop the Broncos. Parramatta's Hayne was equally as dominant in his side's preliminary final, having a hand in two tries as the Eels surged into their first grand final since 2001 with a 22-12 win over the Bulldogs.
