Though I didn't watch the full 80 mins since I was constantly interupted having to umpire and rule on my daughters bitch fights, by the end of the game I felt that Mitch didn't really make up any ground chasing the incumbent Cleary. I think he tried more to mirror him as a Field Marshall than play his natural running game taking advantage of his pace. In general I feel that 5 games in Moses is being molded as a "Cronk-JT- Maloney type" half-back spending more time organising than being more Shaun Johnson-esque in running the ball.
Look forward to your views.

Those 3 you mentioned all ran when the time was right. Maloney was the king of the show and go.Cleary isn't the incumbent, Pearce is and Moses is worth a shot simply because Cleary has been given his chance, I personally believe that Keary will be NIL as he has the big game experience.
Hang on, we have all been crying out for Mitch to improve his game management and put away the big play, now that he has, which is reflected in the controlled manner we now play the game, you're complaining about him being too controlled ?
He is doing exactly what this team needs, we have abundant strike power across the park, we don't need our senior playmaker trying to create tries every second set.
He is pretty close to the complete package now, and he is the best halfback eligible for NSW as we speak. He and Luke Keary are the clear best IMO. Even Freddie mentioned that he thought that Nathan Cleary wasn't creative enough.
The only advantage Cleary has is incumbancy in a winning team, but even then you have to ask how much did he really contribute to winning last years series.
Moses, he'll get Dally M this year. He's probably one of the best defensive half back in the comp. Incredible goal kicker, best running half in the game and a Great kicking game. I think he's the most complete half in the comp.
Moses is showing solid game management. Very happy with his season.
When will the NSW team be selected......!!!!!
After the grand final I think
Cleary was more visible. It seemed he had the ball in his hands more than Moses did. But that just goes to show how well our team is performing atm. Moses and Brown are sharing the responsibility better than most halves we've come up against. It's not all about Moses but he is picking his moments well.
Word is that Pearce will probably get it.
