Chief, it did look to be troubling him. I can't imagine BA reducing his game time for any other reason.

Maybe BA didnt want them in the finals. Were a young team who haven't played 3 or 4 decent games in row. We were never going to take out top prize. Maybe he didnt want them to have big head syndrome next year, save injuries for next year, make them hungry, not burn the young kids out in their first full season. We've got a pretty decent injury toll already.
Maybe BA new a finals campaign would be more damaging to this team than beneficial.

Totally agree! I've been whinging about Paulo starting over Gower all year, and you'd be hard fought to find someone who preferred Paulo starting. Joseph doesn't even rate a mention in my 2015 Eels side if we can snag Watmough and Wicks, I really hope we don't re-sign him (or pay much for him if we do)
