BAs behind the scenes

NRL.com have just posted the video: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/09/12/backstage-pass-inside-the-eels-inner-sanctum/

If your an Eels fan please take the time to watch this. Great insight to what really gone on behind the scenes and the type of coach BA is. Goosebumps stuff gets me excited for Sunday & the future ahead.

If anyone seriously doesn’t have the faith in BA after that you’ve gotta be kidding yourself.

  • He's definitely passionate, i like how he wanted them to be positive &back themselves

  • That was fucking brilliant! Pretty much pointed out how he gave the direction needed  to score every try.

But FMD I still think Kidwell's defence coaching is shithouse..and this did nothing to make me think otherwise

  • Very good!!

  • great  night with brad arthur wired up in he box for the manly v eels match last week.

360 was did think it was great viewing,,,and now think brad a great coach.

  • Proof again that no one had any idea how BA handles pressure or situations. With one rep player on our books, a couple of great  recruits he done a wonderful job. It certainly shut one particular person, that in itself has made my year. But I'm sure he lurking & wait under his rock, looking forward to that lost. We have turned the corner and we have some great times ahead!!

  • Whether you are a supporter or not no one knows what it takes to coach first grade.

BA showed passion and that this is much more than a job for him

    Lesssgoooo eels

  • He was getting up Moses a fair bit.

im sure we won’t see them taking no 2 points Sunday

    • Got up Moses cause he has high expectations of him and that one particular kick for Fergo BA thought could’ve been better. When your an NRL coach & an NRL player you can’t really describe it as “getting up” at someone it’s just how the communication is between coach and player.

  • I like the positive messages to the players, but they still understand what is expected of them and want to buy into that. That is good coaching.

  • Disagree about taking te two being the cause of all the Manly fightback. The cause was that Fergurson had the ball striped after held was called and we did not get a penalty. That was the momentum changer. We usually do not take the two when we should and turn it over on play one. We got two points and the ball back. Maybe when they are down one we should have stayed and tried to wear them out - so long as our completion rate coudl back this decision up. But if we drop it on play one then we are better off at least getting two points.

Hell On Eels replied to SuperEel 22's discussion CONFIRMED: Storm asked NRL to bully Eels into Lomax deal
"Bluey, Badger and Macey,
The NSW Supreme Court could uphold the restraint and still trim it. So we'd win in principle, but Lomax could be cleared to play earlier than 31 October 2028.
A pivot issue could be how the court see our 'alleged rejection'…"

Blue Eel replied to SuperEel 22's discussion CONFIRMED: Storm asked NRL to bully Eels into Lomax deal
"Yep Badger, that sounds about right. If the Eels hold Zac's legal registered rights 2006-2008 to play NRL, then the Storm contract would be considered invalid as it goes against the strict conditions of the Eels release contract.
