As the post states. I heard from a reliable source , and posted it a week ago , that Gould wants Barret at Panthers. I was shocked to hear the banter about Panthers wanting the other bloke because Barret was the first choice.

Why would you return to work with gould once he has outed you ? What would that say about your pride?
Would Cleary respect Gould or visa versa? First mistake that Cleary makes ,or even first confrontation between them both will reset why they originally parted ways.
Cleary is doing a great job and I cant see him returning to Panthers. I think father and son will be together but not at the Panthers.
There is no doubt that Gould is well respected but he has a reputation that is formidable , perhaps too formidable.
Its a good chance that the Panthers wont be able to afford to resign Cleary . What is the father and son timeline on contracts look like.
Its the peril of the NRL. Develop a great team , and Panthers are a great team , and they will remain a great team over the next few years then the value of every player in that team increases exponentially.Panthers wont be able to keep them all.
