Barba Dumped!!!

Seven just reported Barba has been sacked by the Sharks.They've sent him to Thailand for rehab, but when he comes back he won't have a contract.I'd like to congratulate the Sharks on taking a stances against dìckhead behavior. Probably more to this story.

      hence why I was going for storm. I can't stand Gallen, Ennis, Barba and Fafita having won a premiership.

    Will believe it when the club makes a statement. Channel 9 reported that they are standing by him. I tend to think that no decision would be made on his future until he returns. Especially after what happened to Carney. I'd be surprised if the Sharks sack him before he fronts the board

    Cronulla have only done it to help themselves with the Cap... He was on a fair chunk I presume and missing half the season would not have been good for their Title defense .. 

    I wonder who they will put at fullback Holmes or Bird...

    I agree completely. Sharks have reviewed their cap and thought let's punt him, move Holmes back there. Win win for them. Holmes will stay long term as their no 1 and they can find a winger from anywhere. Fortunate situation for Cronulla I think.

    He will no doubt go into hiding for a while, have some mental health issues again (remember Todd Greenburg at Canterbury) and probably come back somewhere...maybe NZ like Foran. Tongue in cheek
