Banner and Sign Ideas for Next Year

I think a sign similar to one St George fans use which says: "In Kearney We Trust." and a sign for Hindy which says "Let's face it, you're up against a man who is trained to feel no pain, ignore weather, to survive in the NRL. His job is to tackle, period. A man who is the best with break away tackles, with covering kicks. If you're going to run at him, don't expect to score."

  • LOL - I like the idea of "In Kearney We Trust". He needs to know that we the fans are behind him 100%, he also needs to know we all see the structural improvement across the park. I think that sign sums it all up quite nicely.

How much do you reckon it'll cost to put together?

I sit up in the members, which while it has it's perks prevents me holding aloft the massive banners on show at other games ala St George etc.

We should be able to do a better effort than some of those rubbish Dragon efforts e.g. "Nightingale to Remember" & "Powered on Soward" WTF?! What a load of shit...

    • that crap GST saints sign has been around longer than their team.
  • i hate those In "..........." we trust signs, it is a pommy football thing and should stay there.

A girl friend of mine wants this sign when we play the fool gould Panthers at penny next year

"Jarryd Hayne's organ is bigger than your shit band" (in reference to their supporters stupid band and their hate of Hayne)

    Loved it!

    • WOW - That's an absolute cracker!

The air's thin down at the foot of the mountains remember - those merkins might struggle with that sort of wit...

  • maybe we could do it in pictures, im sure females wouldn't mind

  • Maybe this one for Parra v Melbourne Next year: Hayne to Slater "I'm Coming to Get YOU!!!". Also on the topic of Penrith, their ground announcer has been warned by the NRL to stop derogitary comments towards teams and also to stop inciting chants.

"Well he was offered a path at least, maybe not in the position he wanted but guarenteed FG week in week out. Penrith there was never certainty of starting straight away.
Not sure who offered more in financials though. "

"Are you talking about Julio Jones? It was sad seeing him decline the way he did. He signed with Tampa, who i support, it was a shame seeing a shell of his former HOF self."

"Hawkins can be freed up to have more space and time to do what he needs to do.
I cannot answer for EA, but if there is a kid to play 6 now the closest bet would be Papali'i or Volkman. In future Twidle or Talataina could be the future.
If Lomax is…"

"Agreed. But that has to begin at an organisational level, not just the football department.
when staff turnover is like a revolving door, it is never a good sign of stability"
