For all those concerned by the fact we'll be using a million dollar a year half at halfback on Sunday with a highly rated rookie 6 who has a stellar junior resume,... when we could have been using Jake Arthur...
For TCT boys who bagged supporters for being cirticial of Jake while he was about to play a big part in Manlys season ...
You can currently watch him on Fox League playing 14 behind Brandon Wakeham in NSW Cup. Small consolation but hopefully he develops well on their Cup bench before BA brings him back.

Arthur playing terrible, glad he is gooooone
That entire Sea Eagles reserve team is horrible. Cant single Arthur out.
BA completely mismanaged his time at Parra .
Criticism aside let's hope he's learned for Matt. Matt looks like a prospect who could go well if given the opportunity to develop .
Matt is a different prospect. Game 1 in NSW Cup and he looked completely at home even though he's still young. You can easily tell he'll be a proper NRL level 9. He'll have a big career. Unfortunately Jake just doesn't have the athletic attributes.
Only issue with Matt at the moment is he take too many risks that lead to errors. Thats an 18 year old for you. But he has promise.
The S E are certainly being outplayed by the Saints today by they gave parramatta a hinding , S E are sixth on the ladder and Parra dead last .
I think it's pretty evident Parra aren't concerned too much with Cup results. It's a development grade for NRL. They trial guys in different positions which added to the fact there are absolute plodders out there on top 30 contracts I don't think they're too concerned with the results at all.
Jake is a much better player now than he was playing NRL for us and that's saying something. Naturally you would think so with another 4 years of growth under his belt but ability aside he's had a tough few years dealing with the nepositism tag here , changing clubs and now finding himself backing up a plodder like Wakeham.
There is no rush with Matt , hopefully BA realises this and doesn't make a case in his mind to bring him in at the first realistic opportunity.
Jake probably wouldn't have touched NRL by now if his father wasn't coach , let alone played a seasons worth of games and in a Grand Final . I think his year at Manly is starting to reveal where he's really at 4 years on ..
Jake to be fair was quite good in Cup for us. Put up some very nice stats. Issue for him will always be speed, too slow to keep up as a Halfback.
Whats wrong with it? You couldve turned over and watched him if you were feeling like you missed out watching him play NRL on Monday
You got it all wrong. You should have posted in a manner to draw in the usual page antagonists who have nothing better to do in their sad lives on here but to spend their day picking arguments and attempt to take over the site with their arrogant opinions. You should have also structured your blog to ensure the same old piss in each others pockets crew jump in and applaud you like they do each other each week. Where did you go wrong?
