So I've just gotten off the Carnival Spirit earlier today after a somewhat interesting couple of weeks away at sea. Had basically no Internet (well I equate 75 cents a minute internet with no Internet) so had to get by with a couple of score updates during the two games I missed. Going to try and watch at least the Newy game tonight. I've got a bunch of PMs in my inbox so this is just to let people know I haven't been ignoring you (well I have, but with good reason). Nice to see the place didn't melt down while I was away, although it's safe to say I'm not going to track back to read the blogs after the Titans loss. If I happen to post stuff and you're all "we talked about that last week" this is why.

What are you doing in trash blogs?
Has there been a coup?
It's like coming back in via Wenty. Couple of weeks out of action, I need a couple of Trash blogs to get my commentary back up to speed.
You know i think its great that you guys have your own cruises these days, i just embrace everybody for who they are, sexual orientation is never a hurdle to friendship imo, nice one Phil.
Yeh it was certainly an experience. Didn't particularly bother me - I'm pretty used to stumbling about and controlling one's vomit reflex.
I was just having a read of this just before I saw your post Phil.
How was the washing machine?

I'm just kind of bemused by all of the attention it's gotten. I thought it was all kind of exciting!
It took quite a few detours to get home!
Let's just say I'm dreading standing on the scales tonight. As one of the comedians said during the trip - "Amazing how the South Pacific air miraculously shrinks all your clothes!" And no, although they were filming when I got off, and my kids did their best to get their heads on camera by jumping about in the background.
Went on the Carnival Spirit a few years ago and did the southern Caribbean and it was great. Have never been able to to take off the extra kilos I put on so the food is ok AAE. Have a look at the southern Caribbean cruises. They are very inexpensive compared to everywhere else and we fluked a cricket match at Barbardos between WI and England which was a fantastic experience. Rum and Coke out of eskies filled with ice (no double door fridges). Do Barbardos, St Lucia etc and it will clost about $1200.00 for 7 days. A few flight changes to get to starting port San Juan but it is fantastic.
