ARTHUR INTO CONTENTION FOR SHARKS JOB
Don’t be surprised if the Sharks add Brad Arthur to their coach wish list for next season.
Arthur needs a good year at the Eels after the club struggled this season but is still held in high regard by rival clubs.
Sharks players are pushing for assistant coach John Morris to replace the disgraced Shane Flanagan but I’m hearing Arthur’s management may offer his services to Cronulla.
A host of other contenders are in the hunt for the Sharks job, with Trent Barrett current favourite

Did Xmas come a day early??!
I’m assuming by next season they mean 2020, Not 2019 as 2019 is next season?
I dont see Brad Arthur going anywhere soon! I think 2019 will be a much better result for the Eels which will possibly mean a n extension to Brad Arthurs services.
Let’s hope so - BA bleeds blue and gold plus he’s a very very underrated astute coach.
Fingers x.........
How many games would we have to win in 2019 for you to think Brad Arthur is a decent coach?
In the end unless you win the comp it means nothing
The Broncos just sacked a premiership winner and replaced him with some bloke who's never won anything. And now that Flanagan is banned, less than half the current NRL coaches have won a premiership.
What can be done to improve the Eels you silly cunt? We keep sacking boards, CEOs and coaches and nothing improves. Maybe if we sack Mark O'Neil we'll start winning games?
Firstly, I clean dishes for a hobby. Secondly, answer the question. How many people do we need to sack before we start winning comps?
Trent : It should always be emphasized that the only success in this competition is winning the grand finale, which is your point. Anything other than winning is a failure There is one reason alone why we are in the competition and that reason is to win the competition and all else is a failure.
