  His kicking game is horrible. I worry when you don't have a half either side that can kick long and short.

    I'd hardly call it horrible. For someone who was thrown into 5/8 having spent the year training in centre/wing he's done a fantastic job. With a full pre-season of training at 5/8 and fine tuning his kicking, I'd say he'll do a fine job.
