- Q. Why does BA always need to look for the "ready made" player like Feild, Hipgrave , Papalili, Opacic Oldfeild ect ???
BA - 8 years at the club and for mine has the worst development record out of any coach I've ever seen especially considering our Junior base. And I'm also talking about non first grade players signed by the club in which ba has failed as well.
In 8 years ba has in our current squad;
Nikure - reserves bench non skilled
Dylan Brown - would have made it in any league or union side anyway
Stone - non skilled bench player
Alvaro - we're looking to offload not in the 17
Mahoney
4 top 20 players in 8 years and that's it.
It's an absolute disaster coming out of a top junior area. Shithouse.

Couldn't agree more Chiefy, the players we have signed for next season aren't even regular 1st Graders.
I know it was a bit hard this season but why isn't he scouting and identifying talent in the Under 20s?
Find players that have decent ability that have gone unnoticed and work on them to become solid 1st Graders.
In conclusion to this it would appear Brad has a poor eye for talent hence why he opts for a more proven type player.
Brissy, I think Scott means that these players were already proven before they came to Parramatta.
- Brown was a good player at Souths playing 1st Grade, I wish he still had the agression he had when there.
- Clint Gutherson was an Australian Schoolboy, not hard to identify talent in that bracket.
- He never identified Junior Paulo, he was already under his nose when Arthur came to Parramatta.
- And, Gillard is a former rep player.
It's not like Brad went left field and took a punt on an unknown and turned them into something.
