Ok so apparently this is the 1st time that BA has lost 4 games in a row since he has taken over as coach.
For so long everyone has been blaming the front office, saying let them get their act in order and the wins will come. Getting everything sorted at the top and the wins will come. Well we've FINALLY got everything sorted and have a great CEO in Bernie Gurr. This next few months could define BA as a coach. I rate him highly dont get me wrong and i still believe he is the right man to move this club forward, however i have noticed he is afraid to make the tough decisions. It's time to either start putting some players on notice or make some serious changes to the squad. He has given them enough chances.
When i looked at our roster at the beginning of the season (especially considering how they kept turning up for each other last year when they had nothing to play for) and i thought we've got a top 8 side here for sure.
I don't know what's happened over the last month but they dont look interested. They look sluggish and unfit, which is strange considering Ronnie Palmer is their trainer. When things get a little tough, they seem to just lost their way.
I love how BA continues to protect his players in the post match press conference, but its the same thing every week, "the effort is there", "we turned over too much ball", "we need to concentrate for 80 mins", "just a few lapses in defence". Mate grow a pair and start making some tough decisions.
We got out muscled and out enthused and appear to be playing like individuals in both attack and defence.
Will be interesting to see how BA reacts for the game against the Tigers. I will make the following changes:
kenny edwards to come straight into the side
Cody Nelson or cameron king for Kaysa - Kaysa tries hard but i believe he is better off the bench. Cody will stiffen up the defence. I remember the game against the dragons a few years ago, he came in and chalked up 40 odd tackles and worked non-stop for 80 mins, plus he's a bigger body than Kaysa.
Kelepi - bring him for Frank - i like Frank but i just think he's still a bit off the pace.
Get rid of Takka - i have been saying this for a long time now. He is a bench player at best.
Will Smith - interchange. Can cover several spots and has that x factor and can add some spark off the bench and allow us to play up tempo.
Alex Twal - we're getting smashed up front. Give him a crack before he gets picked up by someone else.
I dont think they're that far off, the team just needs a few tweaks.

Part of our problem is our depth players aren't pushing for spots either. Wenty have only won 1 game this season as well.
After last years debacle we've come into this season without an organising half.
Then in the pre-season we lost our no 9, who for all his attacking faults, led our defensive line and was a tackling machine.
I think Phil touched on our smaller pack, and without a recognised 9 getting us on the front foot we are for the most part going backwards, pushing passes to make up for this and making unforced errors.
I'm not sure what the answer is, but as head coach BA needs to find one and fast.
We have a couple of home games coming up which are shaping up as must wins or otherwise it's going to be a long struggle back.
Spot on - the difference between a champion side and cellar dwellers. Why does BA continue to sugar coat it. He needs to rip into them and let him know that if you don't put in. there is a chance you wont be in the side next week.
1. At times I feel like he is too nice, where is the anger in him that the orher coaches have, he just says nothing and players no they are a walk into the top 17
2. Due to point 1, people under perform knowing full well they will still be selected
Exactly - apparently they nickname him tummy ache.
I tell you what the only ones with a tummy ache are the supporters having to live through this rubbish again.
Im getting an ulcer.
Our defense is were everything is going wrong. The only changes is DeGois defending in the middle and Scott on the edge. Having these 2 players on kept our line speed in tack and gave us solid defense. No Degois and mving Scott has changed that and Scott experience out wide as well.
