1. Can Cam King Play 80mins?
Last week he missed 8 tackles and was seen with hands on hips and fatigied.
If we see the same again, then Will Smith either takes his place entirely or shares the role with King
2. Tepai Moeroa:
I like Teps, he runs all the right lines, plays good structured footy, but lacks athletecism and is too 1dimensional and easy to read for opposition defence. Needs a big game this week to keep Kenny Edwards out for Round 3
The thing about Kenny Edwards is that he often finds him self spinning out of tackles, and creating broken play and 2nd phase options due to his creativity as a forward, and it is this broken play and second phase style that is going to be the key for players like french and hayne and moses
3. Kane Evans:
Ive written him off, waste of money if you ask me. Hes not talented, hes height is more of a hinderence than an asset because he has no offload in him, his narrow shoulder width doesnt help his lack of offloading ability and his narrow shoulders and skinny frame doesnt help his tackling ability either. He cant wrap ppl up properly, every time he tackles a player on the feet, that player seeks to offload because Evans is too gangly and dangly and narrow accross the shoulders to be able to smother anyone. The roosters couldnt wait to get rid of him. We signed this guy for 3years for god sake. Bring in Vave, hes 120kgs+ And not on stilts so hes harder to tackle and wears the opposition defence out more.
Or Bring in Peni Terepo, Fast feet, Hard hit ups, bends the line back. Kane evans offers none of that
B.A is simply going to have to accept that Evans was a stupid purchase. He was purchased based on nothing more than his height which in Evans case is useless and more of a hinderance
4. Left side trys:
Ive noticed that we heavily favour our right edge attack when in try scoring range.
The team doesnt seem confident in the left edge now that Semi is gone.
Maybe French on that wing might balance the attack out a bit more. The halves might go left more often rather than just right.
If we keep going to hoffman all game again and our left side scores no points, then its French on Left wing and Hayne at Fullback for Rd3 for me.
We will see how things play out
I have confidence that he boys can all keep their positions
Everyone except Kane Evans

Smith could have come on and given King a breather which would have plugged the middle and may have made a difference.
Great player Will Smith and because of his versatility should be the first picked on the bench.
It was an absolutely terrible decision and I hope one that he doesn't repeat.
BA saw the size of the Panthers pack and made the decision to run with 4 forwards. Makes sense. He wasn't expecting our guys to tire so quickly.
I agree with you re King, Smith and Edwards.
One thing which is baffling though, BA included Kysa in that awful game last year vs Cowboys; obviously to give King cover and to give us different options if needed, yet he knew the forecast would be hot on Sunday and there was no one on the bench to take over from king when he got tired. I think (by omitting Smith) he was reacting to what happened when Alvaro went down in the first 5 minutes of that cowboys game - hence 4 forwards on the bench.
Re Evans - I am willing to trust BA's judgement here. He must see something in him so I will give him a few more weeks and form an opinion.
Don't forget King had an injury scare against Melbourne the week previously and that's likely why he selected Kaysa on the bench. Had we controlled the game better in the second half I doubt we'd be talking about King being tired. That's the nature of the hooking position, especially in defence. If you give the opposition cheap ball then they'll be working over the hooker.
Id be over the moon to be proven wrong about Kane Evans.
Wait, are implying that Evans made his proffessional debut last week?
I been watching evans play for years. Hes the exact same and never improved
I would be over the moon if he proves me wrong and i hope he does. But ive never rated him
