Australian International & Origin Player To Be Moved On Before June 30 Deadline?

The Penrith Panthers are understood to be open for business before the June 30 deadline close and it is believed the Panthers are ready to deal former Origin Players Reagan Campbell-Gillard.

The 25-year-old’s stellar 2018 form earned him a debut in the NSW Origin team for game one at the MCG against Queensland, followed his Australian Test debut at last year’s Rugby League World Cup.

The Panthers decided they wanted to secure their star prop and did so successfully with Campbell-Gillard putting pen to paper on a mammoth five-year extension.

But just 12 months later and a poor start to his 2019 campaign sees the new powers to be at Penrith ready to off-load the power forward.

Campbell-Gillard admits it has been “a pretty shit year” so far, having also been overlooked for NSW despite an injury crisis in the front row.

It is believed that Penrith are willing to offload Campbell-Gillard to open up funds to secure Tyrone Peachey back from the Titans.

  • He would transform our pack on his best form, do we have the coin and a top 30 spot for him???

    • Really ,the shit you put on our forwards ,have a look at his performance what a stupid comment he has never dominated our forwards , he is not the answer

  • He must be on massive money for the Panthers to want to offload hi and for there to be no takers.

    • 800k for 5 years is the word HKF.

      • If the Panthers were to pick up at least $100k of that every year he would be worth getting but not if you are paying the full $800k , we can't have 2 front rowers taking up over $1.5 mil of our cap.

        • Panthers has to pay at least $100k or more so he come cheap who ever get him hope we do

He played for NSW last year so what he out of form or not happy at Penrith get him here and look out here we come

  • Tomorrow is the dead line boy it be great to have him in our side this year make it happen Parramatta he is the difference between us making the 8 missing out on the 8 but i bet we dont get him we got the money we got the place for him but wont go for him the knight or bulldogs or Roosters get him

  • Ive heard he is really not liked up there at Penrith by staff and a lot of players a bit a dick seemingly..

    • I heard he punched on with coaching staff lol.

Better not say that Nathan will get piss his dacks.

  • If we can get him we simply have to make it happen.
