  New Zealand have been weakened significantly by the players that are out of the team. Also do not think the coach has much credibility either.

  Australia to put 50 on England rendering the World Cup a joke as no country can compete with Australia. Normally a good thing for any patriotic Aussie but when it comes to International rugby league I’d like to see Australia spanked. Just to make it competitive. Won’t happen.

    Think you're right mutt. The tournament unfortunately probably will be exposed as a joke early on. As such, the winners should receive the Harvey Weinstein trophy! Love to see the Poms get up for the reasons you stated. And its hard to get behind a bunch of Queensland knuckleheads

    Agreed Mutt; i am finding it hard to get into tbh. The fact players have moved countries etc makes it less interesting

  Kinda  finding  it hard to get excited about this world cup. Im more interested in the spring carnival at this time of year and that's still the case even though this tournament is on. As for commentators?? Maybe the Sunrise team headed by Samantha Armytage will be commentating  lol. Can you imagine?  Let's go down to our sideline eye Sam Mac! Over to you Kochie!

    Lebonon has a half decent team as well.
    Still think it won't be that close, depleted tier 1 teams will have closer matches with the tier 2 teams but Aus shouldn't have much trouble.

  I get that mate; but seeing guys chop and change i.e. Taumalolo etc makes a mockery. They should be made to pick and stick for the top teams; so called minnows like Lebanon etc. fair enough but not the major ones.
