Australia no longer innocent

sorry if this sounds like a rant. FIRSTY I am not racist just cranky at the fact we waited 15 or so hours waiting for this lunatic to become a role model for other sick people. Why didn't we take this gutless wouldbee out with our snipers before he got tired and killed.give me something guys

    What would you do??
If the NRL gave you these options which one would you take? First option, lose 8 points from 2016 ladder then play 2017 on a even field. Second opt…
  • I'm FIRSTY too, I'm getting a beer...
  • So channel nine can get a clear shot but not the police
  • Australia is no longer innocent? Since when has Australia being innocent? Mate, this isn't the first time something like this happened. In 1974, I think, a bomb went off in Sydney killing two garbos, a nightclub in Sydney in the mid 70s was fire bombed by terrorists...remember the A.C.T. terrorists back in the mid 80s? The Australian Cultural Terrorists? Australia NEVER been innocent. Australia lost its' innocent, wow that was one misleading title....

    • Australian cultural terrorists.mate were not talking greenie here this is global terrorism at our doorstep
  • I'd be willing to bet that the glass in the windows of all stores in the area are thicker than normal too, which affects your ability to get a clean and safe shot to your target.
  • Googled that up well mate
  • Well that's just put to centreline all our snipers.
  • The police will review their response to the siege. Yes there were times when a sniper shot seemed possible, however you and I are not aware of all the considerations, distance , glass thickness, lighting, risk of collateral damage.

From what I have read, the manager, Tori, twice wrestled with the gunman, the first time allowing 5 to escape and the next time 7 to escape and that's when the shot rang out. I wasn't there and who knows how we would react, but I just can't see myself running out leaving pregnant woman behind, leaving one bloke to risk his life wrestling the gunman, why the blokes didn't jump in and assist the manager?

The big issue is our bail laws and the magistrates and why we don't have laws to tightly control the movements of "known" persons, GPS tracking bands, home detention etc, we do need to get tougher with the extremists

We also need to embrace Muslims not isolate them. They are here, they are staying, so they need to be Australianised, that isn't possible with hate and isolation.
  • Probably Tad.
